{"id":1358,"date":"2022-12-08T15:57:40","date_gmt":"2022-12-08T14:57:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.mlscn.gov.ng\/?p=1358"},"modified":"2022-12-08T15:57:41","modified_gmt":"2022-12-08T14:57:41","slug":"registrar-urges-mlscn-actu-members-to-justify-mlscn-confidence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.mlscn.gov.ng\/index.php\/2022\/12\/08\/registrar-urges-mlscn-actu-members-to-justify-mlscn-confidence\/","title":{"rendered":"Registrar urges MLSCN ACTU members to Justify MLSCN confidence"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/web.mlscn.gov.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-12-08-at-3.56.29-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/old.mlscn.gov.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-12-08-at-3.56.29-PM.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/old.mlscn.gov.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-12-08-at-3.56.29-PM-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/old.mlscn.gov.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-12-08-at-3.56.29-PM-768x512.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Registrar\/CEO, Dr Tosan Erhabor has urged members of the Anti- Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) to do their utmost to justify the confidence reposed in them.<br>He made the remark at the inauguration of members of the Unit by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) at the MLSCN Headquarters recently in Abuja.<br>The Registrar, who was represented by the Deputy Registrar, Inspection, Molecular Laboratory &amp; Mentorship, Dr Lawrena Okoro, congratulated the new members of ACTU and stressed the importance of the unit to the council.<br>\u201cThe unit has always been significant in the scheme of things with the council; therefore, the inauguration of a new tenure is of importance if the MLSCN must maintain her core values which includes integrity, commitment, professionalism, excellence, efficiency and team work\u201d he said.<br>According to him, despite the onset of Covid 19 and some other factors which limited the Unit\u2019s activities, the previous members were still able to record some achievements, including: Erection of suggestion and complain box, signage\u2019s to discourage malingering, production of handbills and stickers amongst others.<br>Meanwhile, Chairman, ICPC, Prof Bolaji Owasanoye, represented by Deputy Director Study and Review, Clement Obaniyi while congratulating the newly inducted members, implored them to maintain high ethical standards which others can abide by.<br>\u201cI would like to congratulate the newly appointed nominee for being found worthy to serve in this capacity.
